Sunday, August 29th - All day - Whitewater Rafting on Tennessee's Ocoee River. You must attend the meeting above to participate



OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP CANCER HOME - 

Raffle tickets for the fundraiser for O.L.O.P.H. Cancer 

Home have been mailed. The Home was established by 

the Hawthorne Dominicans for the care of incurable cancer 

patients without discrimination. It is work supported only by 

the generosity of a sympathetic public. Please return your 

donation and raffle ticket stubs as soon as possible to 

Frank Curti, who graciously represents St. Mary’s Parish 

with this project each year. Thank you for your support of 

this very worthwhile cause.


ST. MARY’S DINNER CLUB - We invite you to join your fellow parishioners for good food, fellowship, and laughter. Small groups generally meet once a month Sept through May. Our first get together will be Saturday, August 28, 2010 immediately following 5:30 Vigil Mass in the conference room. That evening we will enjoy light hors d' oeuvres. No need to bring anything but a smiling face. Information for interested persons will be available that evening and those wishing to participate will be assigned to groups by random drawing. If you want to participate but cannot attend, or would just like more information; please contact Robert Bold (706 291-0101

LATIN MASS AT ST. MARY’S - St. Mary's will again offer the Mass in Latin, Novus Ordo format, on Saturday, September 11th at 9 am celebrated by Fr. Ed Danneker. Latin/English guides to the Mass responses will be available. All interested parishioners are invited to attend.

Traveling Saints - We still have room on the bus but don’t delay!!
~Sept. 25, Sat.: Lynchburgh, TN— Tour Jack Daniels Distillery, quaint stores for shopping, Cake & Candy Co., Ga Winery
~Oct. 16th, Sat.: Blue Ridge, Ga.—Train ride, shopping, apples
~Nov 4-7: Charleston, SC (Houston– we have a problem with date) Please note the date change!!
~Dec. 5, Sun.—Cirque Dream Holidaze at Cobb Energy Center and dinner out (waiting for group sales to call me with cost)
