Berry College CSA

CSA offers Catholic students a chance to grow in their college life with God and in their faith.  CSA sponsors several events during the year, such as an explanatory Mass and Catholic Q&A to help educate the Berry community about Catholicism.  Contact the church office for details.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

On the First Friday of each month, all-night adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is offered from Friday at noon until Saturday at 8 AM.  Adoration of he Blessed Sacrament is a special way to worship God during exposition of the Eucharist.  Those who wish to make a commitment of an hour are invited to sign up on sheets available in the narthex two weeks prior to First Friday.  As adorers, we must never leave the exposed Blessed Sacrament unless we are relieved by the adorers who signed up for the next hour.  It is very important to be totally committed to your hour.

Sunday Evening Rosary

Every Sunday from 5:00-5:20pm in the church, enter through the gazebo side door.  All are welcome to pray for peace, our priests, and special intentions.

Men's Thursday Morning Prayer Group

Prayer, discussion, and support are shared every Thursday morning at 7 AM in the conference room.  All men of the parish are invited.

Ladies Spiritual Group

The Ladies Spiritual Group meets on Thursday morning at 9:30 AM in the library to pray the rosary.  This group also assists the church office with special projects such as changing the missalettes, Presents for Life, and the Traveling Lady of Fatima.

Children’s Liturgy of the Word at 9:30 Mass

Children are dismissed during the 9:30 Mass to hear the readings and a short sermon aimed at their level of understanding.  
The children return to Mass during the procession of the Gifts.

Baptism Preparation Team

St. Mary’s offers a review of the parental role in the faith formation of children through baptism.  Classes are held the second Sunday of every others month.
Parish School of Religion

Pre-K through Confirmation aged (10th grade) children meet on Wednesday evenings September through May at St. Mary's School to prepare for Sacraments: First Confession, First Communion, Confirmation; and, to learn more about their Catholic faith.  Volunteer catechists are always welcome.
Catholic Youth Organization (CYO)

Christian Initiation Team / Sponsor (RCIA)    -

Classes for those interested in learning about the Catholic faith.  A journey of discernment begins in the fall concluding with the Sacraments of Initiation for those who join the Church at the Easter Vigil. Meets on Wednesday nights in the Parish Hall from
6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Marriage preparation

While many engaged couples focus on preparing for the wedding day, the Church encourages them to spend their engagement preparing for a strong, lifelong marriage.  That's why the Church requires couples to prepare for the responsibilities and challenges that come with living out the sacrament of marriage.
