Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion

Extraordinary Ministers are trained and commissioned to assist with the distribution of the Eucharist during Mass on a rotating basis. All confirmed members of the Parish are eligible to serve in this ministry.

Proclamation of the Word / Lector

The proclamation of the readings at Sunday Mass is open to any parishioner who has a good speaking voice and a desire to serve at the Liturgy.

Usher / Hospitality

As liturgical ministers, the Ushers serve the Parish by welcoming parishioners and visitors to Mass, seating them, collecting the offertory and seeing to the good order of the Mass. Ushers participate weekly and meet semi-annually as required.

Adult Altar Servers / Acolytes

A group of men who plan, prepare and assist at all Sunday Masses and major celebrations of the Church year. They assist the priest and lead the congregation with dignity of the altar.

Youth Altar Servers

Boys and girls aged 10 and above who assist at Mass and at special liturgies. A training program is required and offered on a class or individual basis.

Altar Society & Flowers for the Altar

A group of parishioners who prepare and care for the Altar, sanctuary, vessels, vestments, candles.  Also, members of the Altar Society coordinate with parishioners who wish to place flowers on the altar to remember an anniversary, birthday, death or other important occasion.  Meetings are held on the 1st Monday of the month in the Parish Hall.

Outreach Ministry to the Sick

We send cards to the homebound; if  you would like a visit or know someone who is hospitalized or ill at home, please call.  Those involved with this ministry are trained to take the Eucharist to our parishioners who are in nursing homes, hospitals or who are homebound.
